Lawyer from the Pontificia Catholic University of Chile, PhD in Political Science and MSc in Democracy and Democratisation from the University College London. Associate Professor at the School of Politics and International Relations, Queen Mary University of London.

He has published works on populism and misinformation, electoral preferences for local candidates, behavior and preferences of party members, and the formation of social capital on the Internet, among other topics. He is editor-in-chief of the academic journal “Politics”.
