Civil Engineer, with a PhD in Environmental Sciences from University of Concepción, and more than 20 years of work experience in sustainability, innovation and technology transfer. She is currently the Director of the Department of the University of Concepción in Santiago.

Previously she has been Manager of Technological Capacities in CORFO, where she was in charge of the programs of “Technological Centers”, “Consortiums of collaborative research and development”, “OTLs and Hubs of Technological Transfer”, “Engineering 2030” and “The beginning of Science and Innovation for 2030”.
