Marcia Salinas

Professional with more than 25 years of experience in the social security area of the chilean public sector. She has held various positions of responsibility within the chilean Superintendence of Pensions. Her professional development has been linked to the areas of studies of the public entities in which she has worked, as well as the development of regulations for public entities of social security.
In 1994 she joined the Superintendency of Pensions (former Superintendency of Pension Fund Administrators), holding various positions in this institution in the areas of study and regulations. Between 2008 and 2018, she served as Head of the Regulatory Development Division of the same institution. In this last position, she had to lead the development and improvement of the regulatory framework for the chilean pension system and unemployment insurance. In addition, she participated in the preparation and monitoring of legislative projects on the pension system and unemployment insurance. She has participated in various consultancies on reforms to foreign pension systems, in regulatory aspects.
