Civil Engineer from the Catholic University of Chile, Master in Public Policy and PhD in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley. He also has a Master’s degree in Sociology from the Catholic University of Chile. Former National Director of Techo-Chile. Currently, he works as an Economist in the Research Department of the Inter-American Development Bank.
In addition, he is general co-editor of the publication “Intersections”. His areas of interest include problems associated with the evaluation of social programs and labor economics, and more recently, topics associated with the economics of crime and criminal justice.
