Economist, Master in Economic Analysis from the Universidad de Chile, and currently a PhD candidate in Economics at Maastricht University – Netherlands, where he researches natural resources, international trade, and technological change
He has over 10 years of work experience in both the public sector and consulting. From 2012 to 2014, he served as an economic analyst for the Chilean Copper Commission. Then, from 2014 to 2018, he was a senior advisor, coordinator, and chief of staff at the Ministry of Finance of Chile. Since 2018, he has worked as a consultant for international organizations and large companies, advising the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), and CODELCO, among others.
Additionally, he has written about tax regimes in copper mining and has advised parliamentarians on related legislative projects
